Gelli plate printing is a fun, accessible printing technique that lets you create beautiful, unique prints without needing to draw or paint. You use a soft, flexible gel plate, paint, and different textures or images to make patterns on paper. The real magic happens when you peel the paper away and reveal your print — you never quite know what you’ll get!
Join Yana for a relaxed, hands-on afternoon experimenting with colour, magazine images, interesting textures and seasonal foliage. You’ll have the chance to try different techniques, create your own prints and discover just how enjoyable the process can be.
No previous experience or artistic skills are needed. There’s no pressure to get anything right and no perfect result to aim for. Just curiosity, a little experimentation and the freedom to play.
A lovely afternoon at The Talbot, Cuckfield
Set in the charming village of Cuckfield, The Talbot is a welcoming place to gather, enjoy good company and take a little time out from everyday life.
All creative materials will be provided, along with homemade nibbles to enjoy as you work. Drinks are available to purchase from the bar and are not included in the ticket price.
Come on your own or bring a friend. You’ll be warmly welcomed, and there’ll be plenty of opportunity to chat, share ideas and enjoy a couple of hours doing something just for you.
