In Her Rhythm: Hormones, Health & Womanhood

Women attending In Her Rhythm: Hormones, Health & Womanhood

A women’s evening of connection, conversation & understanding.

As International Women’s Day approaches on 8 March, we invite you to pause, reflect, and come together with other women for an evening created with care, intention, and warmth.

On 5 March, just days before this global celebration of womanhood, our Women’s Social Club will host a relaxed and welcoming gathering in the cosy, rustic surroundings of Grape & Grain in Haywards Heath - a space chosen for its homely feel, gentle atmosphere, and sense of ease.

This is not a formal event or a lecture. It is an evening designed to feel safe, inclusive, and unpretentious - a place where women can listen, share, learn, and simply be themselves.

The evening’s focus

Female hormones: from puberty to menopause

At the heart of the evening is an informative, engaging talk exploring the journey of female hormones through every stage of life, from pre-puberty to post-menopause.

So many of us were never taught how our hormones truly work, or how deeply they influence our mood, energy, digestion, mental health, and overall wellbeing. This evening offers the chance to understand your body with more clarity, compassion, and confidence.

Our guest speaker

We are delighted to welcome Claire Dilliway as our guest speaker for the evening.

Claire is a registered nutritional therapist, nutrigenomics practitioner, and menstrual educator, specialising in female hormonal balance from puberty through to menopause, as well as gut health, burnout, ADHD, and autoimmunity.

With a passionate, empathetic, and down-to-earth approach, Claire supports women in understanding their bodies through functional medicine, DNA insights, and specialist testing. Her work empowers women to feel informed rather than overwhelmed - and more at home in their own bodies.

What to expect from the talk

Claire’s talk will be lively, light-hearted, and deeply informative. You can expect to learn what many of us were never taught in school biology, and to leave with a clearer understanding of your own cycles and hormonal patterns.

There will be plenty of space for questions and discussion, making this a shared conversation rather than a one-way talk.

The experience

Alongside the talk, the evening is thoughtfully designed to encourage connection and comfort. You can expect:

  • A warm, cosy, and welcoming atmosphere.
  • A supportive group of women across different life stages and backgrounds.
  • Guided prompts to help you share (only if you wish - there is no pressure).
  • A light craft activity for those who enjoy having something creative to do while chatting.
  • Homemade nibbles and refreshments.
  • Time to arrive, settle in, and connect at your own pace.

Everything about the evening is intentionally gentle - from the pace to the space itself - so you can feel at ease from the moment you arrive.

A safe space for women

This gathering is about listening without judgement, sharing without obligation, and learning in a way that feels supportive and empowering.

Whether you come on your own or with a friend, you will be welcomed into a calm, inclusive environment where conversations continue naturally - often long after the evening ends.

Event details

Refreshments are provided and the space is accessible.

Spaces are intentionally limited to keep the atmosphere intimate, relaxed, and meaningful.
