The Gut-Health Connection: Finding Your Way Back to Balance
Women’s Social Club - May gathering
Life can be busy, demanding, and sometimes overwhelming. Between work, family, responsibilities, and the natural changes that come with different stages of life, many women find themselves feeling tired, bloated, foggy, or simply out of sync with their bodies.
For some, these feelings can become more noticeable during perimenopause and midlife, when hormonal changes begin to influence digestion, mood, energy levels, and overall wellbeing.
What many people do not realise is that gut health plays a powerful role in how we feel every single day. Our digestive system influences much more than digestion. It is closely connected to our immune system, mental clarity, energy levels, and mood. When our gut is out of balance, everyday life can start to feel harder than it should.
At this month’s Women’s Social Club, we are delighted to welcome Verity Coxon, a local nutritionist who specialises in helping women reconnect with their bodies and restore balance through naturopathic nutrition and functional testing.
Verity works with women who feel overwhelmed by symptoms and want to move toward feeling calm, confident, and comfortable in their own bodies again.
What Verity will share
During this gentle and nurturing talk, Verity will explore the connection between gut health and overall wellbeing, helping us better understand how digestion shapes many aspects of our daily lives.
During the evening, we will explore:
- How digestion influences energy, mood, and immunity
- Why many women experience digestive changes during busy life stages and hormonal transitions
- Simple, food-first steps that can help calm your system and support better gut health
- Practical ways to feel more balanced, energised, and at home in your body
This session is designed to be informative, supportive, and empowering. It is a chance to slow down, learn something valuable about your health, and leave with practical insights to bring into your everyday life.
More than a talk
As always, the Women’s Social Club is about more than the talk. It is a space where women come together to connect, share experiences, learn something new, and build meaningful friendships in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
We invite you to join us for this heart-centred evening - a chance to listen to your body, connect with others, and leave feeling inspired and supported.
We look forward to seeing you there.
